1. What is one cultural tradition or ceremony you’ve incorporated into a wedding that completely wowed you, and the guests?
The Macedonian Pig Dance is always different and fun, especially when the family puts on the aprons and hats!

2. What’s a “behind-the-scenes” moment at a wedding that most people don’t realize planners deal with, and how did you handle it like a pro? (Great for educating couples and new planners on the importance of staying calm under pressure.)
When the venue coordinator provided a floor plan for a venue that did not fit the room and so I had to work with the venue team to move things around to make it work.

3. What’s your go-to way to help shy or overwhelmed couples feel confident and seen during the planning process?
Listen to what they want, remind them it is their wedding and they should do what they want and to make sure that all the decisions are theirs to make. We are there to help guide them into making good decisions for their wedding.

4. If you could plan a wedding anywhere in the world with an unlimited budget, where would it be, and what’s one detail you’d splurge on?
In Italy at a beautiful venue in Portofino called Abbazia La Cervara. I would splurge on fireworks off ships for a wow factor.
5. What’s one piece of advice you wish every couple knew before hiring a wedding planner? (This helps educate couples and reinforces the value of professional planning.)
Before hiring a wedding planner, interview at least 3 different planners because whoever you choose, you need to have a good connection with them. You are trusting them with the most important day of your life, and you will be spending a lot of time with them, so you need to enjoy their company!
