Thank you to Julie MacDonald, WPICC, CWD of Blanc Crème & Co for this super fun and vibrant styled shoot submission. It’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
This, “Bringing Back the Groovy 70’s” styled shoot was actually used for her WPIC Wedding and Event Designs Fundamentals certification course assignment. We are thrilled that she allwod us to share it with you!
The décor for this wedding styled shoot was imagined and created to bring back the 70s groovy and retro vibes.
We love all of the details…
The combination of colourful accents, mid-century furniture and a touch of gold brass worked well in setting a cozy yet retro-chic look. The sun-shaped arch and disco balls tied everything together perfectly.
This colourful styled shoot was designed to demonstrate the possibilities of use of colours and textures in order to create an atmosphere that truly represents the theme.
Showing that having a fun and bold colour palette is possible.
Making sure the ceiling treatment was positioned correctly in terms of height and elaborating the design for the sun-shaped arch was a challenge but ended up being both my favourite décor elements.
Collaborating with the different vendors in order to achieve this wedding styled shoot was an amazing experience. It made this whole day a fun and creative adventure!
