From Photographer, Stef of Rosewood Wedding Photos:
Winter in Toronto can feel never-ending, so the goal of this shoot was to bring some warmth and life back into the city (and our souls) while waiting for spring to roll around!

Our overall theme for this shoot was “minimalistic with small pops”; a naked wedding cake with small floral details, clean and modern bridal pieces for our model but as a skirt and top combo (something I’m hoping to see on at least one of our brides this season!), and even simple bridal make-up, but with a little pop of colour!

We photographed this session at the Jam Factory in Toronto’s East End; it was the perfect venue that really brought everything together! The large windows kept everything so beautifully lit, the wooden floors brought some warmth, and the exposed brick gave the shoot a very rustic feeling.

While our shooting style tends to be more light + airy, around noon we had these beautiful pockets of harsh light come through that we had to take advantage of… and we were not disappointed by the #mood it was giving to our shoot!
