Paras Mehta, WPICC of Paras Events
Recognized as one of Canada’s top talents in event design, Paras Mehta is the creative force behind Paras Events, creating highly stylized and luxurious social and corporate events internationally for the most discerning of clientele. Paras is known for his calm demeanour, sophisticated design aesthetic, and commitment to each and every client. In just over a decade, Paras has garnered the acclaim of the Canadian events industry. He was awarded his first Canadian Event Industry Star Award at the age of 24 and a year later at age 25, was named ‘Event Designer of the Year’ by the Canadian Wedding Industry –one of the highest achievements in wedding design in Canada. Paras is a highly sought after designer known for his creativity, attention to detail, and innovative approach to design. His ability to conceptualize space in harmony with his client’s desires has made him the top choice for a host of corporations, organizations, foundations, top-tier hotels and resorts, event planners, and couples. More recently, Paras’s work has captured the attention of Bollywood celebrities and royalty. As a graduate of the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada and Canadian Institute of Floral Design, Paras continues to be at the forefront of the Canadian event design industry as a judge in national awards programs and speaker at national industry conferences. I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from Ryerson University. I am a certified wedding and destination wedding coordinator through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. I am also a Sandals Certified Specialist, Superclubs Certified Specialist and am TICO certified; allowing me to cater to all of your local and destination wedding needs.
Weddings and events are my passion and I absolutely LOVE love! The most rewarding part of being a wedding and event coordinator is having the opportunity to work so closely with such diverse personalities, cultures and families. Seeing the look on my clients’ faces when what they have envisioned in their minds is right before their eyes is truly priceless!
Tajrean Kashem, WPICC of Taj & Raj Events
Although Tajrean’s gracious personality is often the first thing people notice about her, it’s only one of many qualities that she brings to her work as a wedding and event planner. She combines her love for Weddings & Marketing to operate a successful Event Management Company in Toronto. Although her office is based in the Durham region, she services across the globe.
When she first began her wedding planning career with a local event planning company in 2007, she quickly gained a reputation for passion, creativity, and grace under pressure. As she was entering her final years at UofT, she knew that launching her own Wedding Planning service was the natural next step. Along with a Project Management certification program at UofT, she has also added the Wedding Planning & Destination Wedding Planning designations from WPIC to her profile.
Under her creative and highly knowledgeable direction, she and her trusted team of associates have produced & executed over 75 successful across the GTA.
Tajrean emphasizes the importance of connecting with her clients on a personal level, and she is known for making space in her heart for every one of her couples. Tajrean prides herself on her attention to detail, quality of execution and most importantly, her impeccable customer service.
Sonia Kohli, WPICC ofDashing Dulhan Born and raised in a large and close-knit family, Sonia was brought up understanding the value and importance of marriages. Although Sonia has a degree in Sociology and a diploma as a Law Clerk, she always found herself amongst any and all event management opportunities while growing up. While working as an Assistant Event Coordinator, Sonia quickly learnt that her passion and happiness was inherited in planning South Asian weddings and delivering exceptional client service. After completing the WPIC wedding planning and destination wedding planning course, Sonia was adamant on starting a business that brought quality service, uniqueness and creativity into a flourishing industry. Her focus has continuously remained on building trustworthy and personalized relationships with couples and their families. Sonia’s excellent organizational skills, effective time management and ability to multitask create a strong backbone for superb event management. Sonia brings an unparalleled blend of experience and education to each and every client’s event. Her genuine personality, beaming positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure allows her to effortlessly mesh with her clients while she works her wedding magic. For Sonia, each event is treated distinctively, with care and diligence. She is humbled and grateful for the continuous support and love received. |
