In the past year and a half (thanks to COVID-19) it has been difficult to run a business on many levels. The wedding and event industry in Canada was almost non-existent unless our events were done virtually, or in extremely small numbers following provincial guidelines. Thank goodness we are seeing things turn around, and the forecast is starting to look promising.
Social media content is one of the challenges that we have struggled most with. As planners, we rely heavily on our social media platforms to interact with clients, potential clients and other wedding pros. We are used to showcasing our weddings and events, testimonials and behind-the-scenes work as part of our communication.
Wedding Catering: Stress-Free Ideas During Covid-19
It’s hard to think of a more challenging time to have a wedding than in the middle of a pandemic. However, love waits for no one. If your clients decided to proceed with the big day, it’s time to think about the practicalities of your clients’ special day. Hygiene measures, of course, such as providing hand sanitizers and ensuring there is enough space for social distancing according to the current regulations, should be observed.
Once you’ve finished with the Covid-19 rules, an essential and much more interesting question remains – what shall my clients feed their guests? Wedding catering may be slightly different from the usual. However, there are still many ways you can cater delicious meals for your clients’ family and friends.
