1. What inspired you to become a wedding content creator, and how does your role differ from that of a traditional photographer or videographer?
My own wedding experience played a huge role in shaping my journey as a wedding content creator. Even with a photographer and videographer capturing the key moments, I found myself wishing I had more candid, behind-the-scenes content—the little in-between moments, the laughter with friends, the stolen glances, and the raw emotions. Once the photographers and videographers wrapped up, I realized there were so many moments I wanted to relive but didn’t have captured. That’s when I saw a gap in the industry and decided to launch Common Luxe in 2024.
Unlike traditional photographers and videographers who focus on high-quality, polished imagery using professional equipment, wedding content creators specialize in fast, candid, and social-media-friendly content. Our turnaround time is incredibly fast—usually within 24 to 48 hours—so couples can immediately relive and share their wedding day. We complement, rather than replace, the professional media team by capturing the spontaneous, unscripted moments that may not make it into the final edited gallery or wedding film.
2. Can you walk us through the services you offer as a wedding content creator and how they benefit couples on their wedding day?
I offer three service packages—Essentials, Iconic, and Legacy—each varying in coverage time (6, 8, or 12 hours) and the number of curated videos delivered. No matter the package, every couple receives a recap video of their wedding day, along with hundreds of behind-the-scenes photos and videos (often 700+ pieces) delivered the same night.
This service allows couples to instantly revisit special moments that might otherwise go unseen—sweet exchanges with parents, candid laughter with bridesmaids and groomsmen, behind-the-scenes prep, and even fun on-the-spot interviews with guests. These organic, in-the-moment captures add an extra layer of storytelling to their wedding day, giving them something to enjoy right away while waiting for their professional photos and video.
3. Why do you think it’s important for couples to have a dedicated content creator at their wedding, and how does it enhance their experience?
A wedding content creator offers a real-time, unfiltered perspective that enhances the overall wedding experience.
• Instant Memories: Instead of waiting weeks for professional edits, couples receive their content within 24-72 hours, allowing them to relive their wedding right away.
• Less Pressure on Guests: Friends and family can fully immerse themselves in the celebration rather than worrying about capturing moments on their phones.
• A Fresh Perspective: While photographers focus on timeless, frame-worthy shots, and videographers craft cinematic wedding films, a content creator provides a candid, authentic, and social-friendly look into the day—almost like seeing the wedding through the eyes of the guests.
• Perfect for Social Sharing: For couples who love sharing their journey online, this service ensures they have beautiful, polished content tailored for social media without having to wait and that is easy to share.
In today’s fast-paced digital world, this service bridges the gap between real-time moments and professional keepsakes.
4. What types of content can couples expect to receive from you, and how quickly are they able to access their wedding highlights?
Couples receive a mix of:
• Raw Photos & Videos: Unlimited behind-the-scenes footage, captured throughout the day on an iPhone, delivered the same night once my service is complete.
• Curated Highlight Videos: Professionally edited short-form videos (recaps, trending reels, TikTok-style edits) delivered within 48-72 hours.
The goal is to provide instant, shareable memories while still waiting for the polished photography and videography.
5. What advice would you give to couples considering a wedding content creator for their big day, and how can they ensure they choose the right one for their style and needs?
When choosing a wedding content creator, couples should consider:
✔ Style & Aesthetic: Every content creator has a unique approach—some focus on trendy, fast-paced reels, while others lean into documentary-style storytelling. Look at past work to ensure their style aligns with your vision.
✔ Delivery Speed: One of the biggest perks of hiring a content creator is fast turnaround time. Be sure to confirm how quickly you’ll receive your footage and edits.
✔ Personality & Fit: Since content creators are capturing intimate, behind-the-scenes moments, it’s important that their presence feels natural and comfortable for you.
✔ Not a Replacement, but an Addition: A content creator doesn’t replace your photographer or videographer but enhances your wedding day by filling in the gaps—capturing the moments that might not make it into your final album but are just as meaningful.
This service is perfect for modern couples who want a balance of polished keepsakes and real-time memories. In an age where social media plays such a big role, a wedding content creator ensures you have instant, authentic snapshots to relive your special day while waiting for the final masterpieces from your photography and videography team.
