Thank you to Manuela Maranhão, WPICC of Mars Soirees for sending this beautiful editorial our way!
As a Brazilian in Toronto, my objective is always to help couples incorporate their cultures to their wedding.
Whether it’s including the “bem-casado” sweets as a symbol of good luck, lively samba music to get everyone dancing, or the tradition of presenting the bride with golden shoes for prosperity, we can try to ensure that these cultural elements are seamlessly woven into each celebration, creating a personalized and joyful experience that honours the couples roots.
Toronto is a big mixture of cultures, I want my couples to feel special and seen on the most special day of their lives.
For this styled shoot I wanted to work with women from different backgrounds and that haven’t worked together. This shoot was not only a way for each of us to connect and learn, but also to empower the diversity between us.
We tend to think diversity brings us apart, but learning the culture of meaningful people in your life is the biggest expression of love.
