Q: How did you meet? A: “We met in college we were in the same sociology class he sat next to me!”
Q: Who proposed? How? A: “Kevin proposed to me on our 7 year anniversary of dating. He proposed to me at my parents backyard, it was just the two of us. He caught me off guard!”
Q: How long have you been together? A: “9 years!”
Tell us about your theme: “The theme of my wedding was “Wonderland” inspired by Alice in Wonderland. I wanted to bring bold colours to the venue, which had a mix of modern and vintage look to it. I did not want the floral arrangements on the tables to be too tall, so I decided to go with tulips for centrepieces, since they are a more original flower to use. I have not seen tulips yet for centrepieces. For the napkins and tablecloths I decided to go with navy blue napkins to match the invitations, and light pink table cloths to balance everything out. As for the charger plates, I went with gold glittery charger plates because I wanted to create a bold statement with them.”
Q: What was the best part about planning your wedding? A: “The best part of planning my wedding was that I had complete control of the theme and vendors etc. I was able to personalize a few things to make it extra special since it was my wedding.”
Q: What was the most challenging part(s) of planning your wedding? A: The most challenging part for me was to feel like a bride, and not a planner since I’m used to being the planner.
Q: How did you overcome this? A: “The month before my wedding I took the time to really feel like the bride and to enjoy and to get excited for the wedding day!”
Thank you so much for sharing your special moments from your wedding with us. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
