Don’t have time or the funds to hire a web designer, copywriter or place an ad right now? No worries. We’ve got some quick fixes that you can do today to improve your brand.
- Update Your Social Media and Portfolio: Go through your portfolio and social media posts and delete anything that no longer suits your brand. Anything older than five years (unless it’s really special and still represents you well) should be archived.
- Always be Building Relationships: This can be as simple as leaving a kind and sincere comment on someone’s social media. Do they have a product you really like? Purchase it for yourself or someone you know and then introduce yourself at the same time. Nurture long-term ones by sending a note, email or DM to let them know that you are thinking of them. Grab a coffee or have a lunch date with those you appreciate most.
- Start Focusing on Your People: Speak directly to the type of clients that you want to attract in your blogs, Facebook and Instagram posts. What problems do they have and provide some solutions. Don’t waste time on people who won’t hire you.
- Update the Wording on Your Website: Take a look at your “Services” and “About Me” pages. Can you make some changes to refresh and make it sound more relevant and current?
- Believe in Yourself: Know your value and what you offer. Believe that you are worth every penny that you charge for your services. Now go and show them by being the wedding professional that you were born to be. Share some tips and provide some useful advice on your blogs and social media platforms. Respond in forums and groups that you are a part of. Get more active in your wedding planning community.
