How to Make Your Wedding Clients Happy
As wedding professionals and business owners, customer service is a skill that we need to excel at. Below are some easy to implement ideas that you can start doing right now to make your clients happy.
- Check in with your clients on a regular basis. Have a monthly meetup or phone call. Send weekly reports. This way they will be more comfortable coming to you when they need your advice or have concerns.
- Respond to your emails quickly within business hours. Within a couple of hours is best. Anything longer makes them feel like they are not a priority. Have your business account on your phone so you don’t miss anything time sensitive and relevant.
- Be decisive in your decision making. They hired you to manage their wedding. Manage it. Make decisions and be able to back them up.
- Value your couples point of view. Listen more and talk less. Try to put yourself in their shoes. They don’t plan weddings on a daily basis. You do.
- Do not over-promise. This way you can over-deliver. Be realistic.
