There is a great debate: “Which SmartPhone is better for Wedding Planners?” Personally, I am clinging to my BlackBerry for dear life. I wouldn’t want to go without BBM while working a wedding, but I use my iPad to take advantage of all these great apps!
Here are the apps considered the best for Professional Wedding Planners:
This app helps you calculate Room Capacity, Dance Floor space needs, Catering needs, Staffing, etc. Best of all, it can be done while you are on the site visit!
We’ve all had clients ask us for some fun wedding traditions they can incorporate, now you can have them at your fingertips (because the WPIC Alumni board doesn’t have EVERYTHING 😉 )
There are actually 200 wedding tips from professional wedding planners, florists, photographers and other vendors.
A Wedding Inspiration search engine at your fingertips.
Take a photo of an item you found and this app will show you a colourscheme and give you the Pantone number to send to the designer! Also there is access to thousands of colour schemes and message boards.
An Inspiration Tracker. Take photos or videos of the items that inspire you, tag them and put them in your clients’ file, blog it or put them into an Inspiration file for later. Email them to your client or designer.
Does one of your couple’s need help picking their Wedding Ceremony music? This app has clips of hundreds of wedding-appropriate music categorized by the style and theme of the wedding, for example: Elegant, African, Opera, Classic, etc.
WeddingGawker is an inspiration source. Tons of real weddings to inspire creative and personalized weddings.
Because sometimes we just need a stress-relieving laugh! Jokes and real-life situations to help you see the humour in certain situations.

Hello there! I know this is kinda off topic but I’d figured I’d ask.
Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog
article or vice-versa? My site goes over a lot of the same
topics as yours and I believe we could greatly benefit from each other.
If you’re interested feel free to shoot me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Awesome blog by the way!
