Thank you to Stephanie of Stephanie Miaco Events, WPICC for this gorgeous submission.
For this shoot, I planned on a simple but elegant look. I wanted to create something that would be trendy. There was less use of standard floral centrepieces. But a much more focus on the colour palette. I wanted to incorporate a winter vibe such as light blues and grays palette. The palette for this shoot has a combination of grays, blues, pinks with greenery and floral.
The inspiration is from the Ballet: The Nutcracker. The character, the Sugar Plum Fairy, is the main influence of this design. Although she turns dark, she had a soft spot and a love for sugar. One of the wedding dresses used had a pink V neck top with an A-line bottom and rosettes trailing down the back. It was the perfect embodiment of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
I often have a few brides tell me that they feel intimidated picking up bridal magazines because they can only afford half of what they see, or it is too much for their liking. So I thought, why not create something that would be half; half the cost and half the floral but still 100% creativity, realistic and a tablescape that does not hide the guest in front of you.
I started S Events & Creations back in March 2019 after time working in the Events industry with several professionals. I made sure to create a look that inspired me and reflected on my journey so far.
