Due to the difficult economy everyone has been facing in the past couple years, more and more couples are trying to haggle with their wedding service providers over their fees. Often couples do not see the value of the service the same way they would see the value of a tangible product.
Have a look at this video of people trying to haggle for everyday products and services, it doesn’t quite translate does it? So why are you trying to do it with your wedding service providers?
We all know the old adage, “You get what you pay for.” When it comes to wedding services, this is very true. A true wedding professional knows how much their services cost, how much their time is worth and how much preparation goes in to your event.
When a service provider discounts their fees, they are usually omiting a service, are inexperienced or simply do not provide the same quality. So buyer beware: You get what you pay for!
