WPIC Professional Development Event at Herongate Barn Theatre

A big THANK You to all who participated in my first WPIC Regional event. We have an engaging evening of networking and informative learning experience by two expert businesses: Gervais Party & Tent Rentals and Brand Ambition.

The event was held at Herongate Barn Theatre in Whitevale. The owner and the wedding coordinator were amazing to work with!  They welcome us with coffee, tea with delicious deserts and Wine with cheese and Crackers.

We had a really nice site tour of Herongate’s facility including the theatre area with lots of information with how they run their tented weddings, and what they have to offer. Herongate Barn Theatre even had a Movie Theatre theme wedding, where the bride and groom (who were both actors) had their ceremony on the stage as if it were a play.

The owner and Manager of Gervais Party and Tent Rentals, were a wealth of information and entertaining!   They covered everything from how to calculate what size of tent you need, calculate spacing considerations between tables, bar area, dance floor etc. installation timelines and we had ample time for Q&A.

Then the ladies at Brand Ambition had a very interesting, on-hand presentation on Branding and Communicating on Social Media. These ladies really need their stuff! There was lots of valuable information presented.  They covered everything from tips to know your brand is strong, how to Brand Your Social Media (Instagram & Facebook tips) and How to grow your followers if you feel like you’ve “plateaued”.
