Last week in Istanbul, Türkiye, I had the honour of speaking on behalf of WPIC Inc. at the Table Design Exhibition, alongside association leaders from around the world.
Our conversation focused on the relevance and importance of industry associations and awards ceremonies not just as recognition, but as tools for education, accountability, and elevating standards across the wedding and events industry.
We spoke openly about the challenges we’ve faced, the wins worth celebrating, and most importantly how associations can work better together to support professionals in meaningful, modern ways.
When collaboration replaces competition, our industry becomes stronger, more respected, and better prepared for the future. Grateful for the dialogue, the shared perspectives, and the opportunity to represent WPIC on an international stage.
Tabletop Design Exhibition in Istanbul was the perfect mix of speaking on stage, inspiring B2B meetings, incredible suppliers, late-night drinks, and conversations that turned into memories.
I’m so grateful for the friendships revisited and the new connections made. I’m already counting down to the next one…
The designs on the conference floor were once again, stunning and over-the-top!
