Let’s all be More Like Audrey…

It is no secret that I love Audrey Hepburn.  She was a truly beautiful woman, inside and out. She had class, humanity and loved to laugh, yes, even at herself! 

Over the years, I have tried to model her approach to life. I have quotes from her posted above my office desk.

The rules are simple:

• Be kind to others
• Help others in need
• Do not gossip about anyone
• Give credit, where credit is due
• Stay grounded

You are wondering what does this have to do with the wedding industry? Everything!

I was inspired to write this blog because of a situation that came up…   

There are always people that are going to be jealous of your successes in life and try to knock you down to get themselves ahead.  I was stressing out about one such instance, when my sister, Danielle, said to me, “Tracey, what would Audrey do?” (She knew this would work like magic, of course!) This shook me out of my little negative cloud and put me right back on track.  Thanks, Danielle 🙂
