On Saturday, February 22, 2025, The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC) hosted its prestigious annual Wedding Awards at the elegant Ascott Parc Event Centre.

This year’s event was a testament to the exceptional talent within our community, with 75 outstanding submissions vying for top honours across various categories for weddings that took place in 2024.
Award Categories & The Winners:
The WPIC Wedding Awards recognize excellence in multiple facets of wedding planning and execution. Here are the winners and the categories for this year’s awards:

These categories were designed to highlight the diverse talents and specialties within our industry, from innovative design and sustainability to exceptional coordination and entertainment.
Submission and Selection Process:
The submission portal opened on January 10, 2025, and closed on February 5, 2025. Eligible submissions showcased weddings and events that took place between January 1 and December 31, 2024. Each entry was meticulously reviewed by an esteemed panel of judges, comprising industry experts from around the globe, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation process.
Honouring the Winners:
While the competition was fierce, a select group of professionals stood out for their exceptional contributions to the wedding industry. Their dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence have set new benchmarks in wedding planning and execution.
