Since 2012, every year WPIC Alumni have gathered to celebrate the year that just finished and to get inspired for the year ahead. The WPIC Kickoff is a chance to connect with other wedding professionals, be introduced to new vendors and items for weddings, and to actually be a guest at an amazing event!
Please join your fellow WPIC Alumni for a night of celebration, inspiration, cocktails, dinner, and dancing. This is also our ninth year for the “WPIC Wedding Awards!”
2026 WPIC Kickoff & Wedding Awards Gala
Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
Time: 5PM-Midnight (Registration and Coat check will open at 4:45PM)
Location: Chelsea Hotel, 33 Gerrard St W, Toronto, ON M5G 1Z4
Attire: Formal
Themed Dress Code: Step into Botanical Luxe: WPIC Edition. A celebration of elevated nature, modern elegance, and our signature WPIC blues and greens. Expect lush florals, fresh textures, and a refined garden-party vibe brought indoors. Guests are encouraged to wear WPIC Signature colours of blue, and/or green, or the Pantone colour of the year “Cloud Dancer” white attire, with bonus points for beautiful botanical or floral touches.
