We are thrilled to announce that the next edition of the WPIC Wedding Awards is officially underway! The submission portal will open on December 1, 2025, and remain open until January 30, 2026. Winners will be honoured in person at the highly anticipated WPIC Kickoff and Awards Gala on February 28, 2026, at the Chelsea Hotel in downtown Toronto. New Categories for 2026!!
In response to the evolving landscape of our industry, and because our community continues to amaze us, we are thrilled to introduce three exciting new award categories:
1. Best Wedding Over $200,000
The “Best Wedding Over $100,000” category has consistently been our most popular, receiving an incredible number of high-calibre submissions. To better honour the excellence and artistry shown in ultra-luxury celebrations, we’ve added a new tier to properly recognize the exceptional work found in weddings with budgets exceeding $200,000.
2. Excellence in Multicultural Wedding Planning
As weddings become more global, inclusive, and rich with layered traditions, planners who can authentically honour and blend diverse cultures deserve the spotlight. This award recognizes outstanding work in creating celebrations that thoughtfully integrate cultural elements, traditions, and meaningful ceremonial practices.
3. Emerging Wedding Planner of the Year
Building a successful career takes dedication, passion, and grit, and we want to celebrate those rising stars who are making an immediate impact. This award is open to planners with 1–3 years of experience who have demonstrated remarkable growth, professionalism, and early excellence in their craft.

To ensure fairness, integrity, and excellence, all WPIC Wedding Award submissions are evaluated by an esteemed panel of respected wedding professionals from around the world. Judges are carefully selected from outside the WPIC community, ensuring a fully non-partisan review.
Even more importantly, entries are judged blind—the panel does not see any identifying information about the planner, company, or team.
