We are always so proud of our WPIC Alumni and their many accomplishments. This past week our WPIC Regional Reps produced a spectacular event on behalf of WPIC for the WPIC Alumni, encompassing all of Ontario. The event was perfectly executed, and there was never a dull moment. Kudos to each of you! xo xo xo
There were a total of 128 alumni in one beautiful room at Renaissance by the Creek.
The evening started off with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres in the lobby. Signature drinks were “Cotton Candy Martinis”, yum! Wonderful staff who were attentive and professional from start to finish. The food was delicious! Did I mention that the Event Manager, Walter Galvao is WPICC?
We then went into the ballroom for a sit-down dinner, watched a fantastic video featuring many of our WPIC alumni from all over the globe, discussing what success means to them. We then listened to the key-note speaker, WPIC Alumni Paras Mehta, talk about “Keeping the Balance”. He brought warmth, honesty and humour into his seminar. Well done, Paras!
There was a panel of some of our WPIC Alumni that was moderated by WPIC instructor, Lindsay Mogford. The panel featured Elizabeth Johnston of Event Decorator, Arthur Kerekes of Fusion Events & Crystal Adair-Benning of Distinct Occasions.
We were entertained by the fantastic sounds of Shugga . They are known for their covers of R&B, Top40, Funk, Soul, Motown, Rock and more. DJ’ing in between sets was WPIC’er, Sam Fleming aka DJ Ef Sharp. So many peeps got up and danced until the end of the evening.
Amazingly fun photobooth and props from Your Captured Moments 🙂
The Swag Bags were jam packed with every hot magazine from all over Ontario in it, along with a haircut and style certificate for each person, sweets, & a purse hook.
At the end of the evening, certificates were given out to WPIC Alumni who have attended one or more regional event over the last year.
We know that so many hours and vendors went into this night to make it what it was. We are so appreciative of everyone involved. Thank you!
