As Wedding Planners, we are expected to control and plan for many different elements of the Wedding Day. One thing that has always elluded us is what the weather will be like in approximately 11 months time.
I've always been a good luck charm for my clients, none of my couples have ever been rained out of their photos or outdoor ceremony. It may rain before or after, but never during 😉
Since not all Planners have my special powers, The Weather Channel has armed them with a new tool: Wedding Planner by The Weather Channel.
You can plug in various dates and find out the historical weather data in order to help your couples best choose their date. It will even tell you when the sun will rise and set, and at what stage the moon is.
I've always guaranteed a beautiful warm, sunny day in late September, this is what they say for Saturday, September 18 & 25, 2010:
Day | Sunrise | Sunset | Avg. High |
Avg. Low |
Record High |
Record Low |
18 | 7:00 AM | 7:23 PM | 20°C | 8°C | N/A | N/A |
25 | 7:08 AM | 7:10 PM | 18°C | 7°C | N/A | N/A |
Brides and Grooms can even set up a Wedding Weather Webpage, so guests can see what the Wedding Weather will be like for various activities.
We have Honeymoon and Destination and other Weather Tools too, but I'm not giving away all our secrets 😉
