Cake Pop Revolution!

What’s sweet, bite-sized and can be totally customized to your event??? Cake Pops of course! Cake pops have been around in the event industry for numerous years. Previously, they were a side note to the main dessert event, the wedding cake or wedding cupcake tree. Cake pops are finally becoming the featured dessert as they offer a unique wow factor with limitless design options that keep your guests talking.
Angie Dudley, of Bakerella fame, launched cake pops to superstar status when she was featured on the Martha Stewart Show. From that point, the little truffle like balls of chocolate-coated cake became bumblebees, reindeers, fish, soccer players, princesses and more. These exciting treats take any event’s theme to new heights, whether it’s a wedding, anniversary or birthday.
WPIC showed the fundamentals of making these sweet treats for yourself. They take a lot of patience but the rewards of biting into the moist, decadent cake pops keep people craving new flavors and designs.
Not everyone is destined to be a Bakerella or Martha so they turn to professionals to get their customized cake pops for their celebrations. Lottie and Lil is a Toronto based cake pop business launched after the success charity event Cake Pops 4 Cancer.
Lottie and Lil offers five different flavors and limitless design options! Robin Wight, the owner, loves collaborating with customers to develop the perfect sweet design for any event. Ordering your cake pops is as simple as picking a flavor: Coco Loco, Ruby Red, Lickity Lemon, Pure Vanilla or Choco Naner and selecting your design.
You may want simple pops dipped in one of the many chocolate colors or a designer cake pop totally customized to your event. Check out some of the designs customers have been enjoying on Lottie and Lil’s Blog.
