Helen & Adeeb’s “Disney” Wedding – August 26, 2017

Once upon a time there was a girl named Helen who worked in an office in Mississauga. She was chained to her desk and as each day passed she would stare out the window wondering when her prince charming would save her from the evil clutches of her corporate bosses.

One day, a handsome prince named Adeeb walked by Helen’s desk and said “You’re too pretty to work. I want you to be my princess and never have to work again. I want to take you to my castle at Disney World at least once a year so you can meet all my friends (Pooh bear, Mrs. Potts, Timon, etc.). I want to marry you”.

Helen agreed, as she always dreamed about being a real princess. She would dance around the kingdom singing songs of joy.

Suddenly, she was worried. “I want to plan a lavish affair to celebrate our love with all of our friends and family but I don’t know what to do or where to begin. I want the townsfolk to come to our wedding and love every minute of it”.

So off they went, on their journey to find help to plan their big day.

While riding through the magical forest, it was their horse, “Maximus” who stumbled upon Trevor. He noticed him because he was leading all the animals in the forest to a song and dance routine and wanted to be a part of it. As I’m sure you can imagine this is not an easy task and Helen & Adeeb were thoroughly impressed.

“Excuse me kind sir. My name is Prince Adeeb and this is my soon to be wife Princess Helen. We are to be wed next year and I can tell by the way you work with these animals that you can plan a wedding.”

What Helen and Adeeb weren’t aware of was that Trevor was actually their fairy godfather in disguise. He waved his wand and “bibbity bobbity boo”, their dream wedding was planned.

People gathered in droves to attend this event. There were violin performances, songs sung by family members, even choreographed Arab and Greek dances. The décor was reminiscent of Adeeb’s friend Beasts castle. There were even men there making a moving picture for them to watch. The night was a huge success.

Fairy godfather Trevor disappeared in the night to help others in need on their special day. It was like he never existed. But he did. And every time the song A Whole New World is played, Princess Helen & Prince Adeeb not only remember their first dance and how amazing their wedding day was, they also smile and raise a glass to their fairy godfather Trevor.
