Each and every year we try to attend the amazing Love Mexico conference for wedding planners and travel agents. It is one of the conferences that we feel really goes above and beyond for destination wedding professionals to learn all about weddings in Mexico. We at WPIC Inc. are proud supporters and sponsors of it.
This year we were thrilled to see it happen in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at the beautiful Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive Adults Only.

Day One: Arrival, registration and site visits of the property as well as the “Welcome Party”. It was really great to see some different and beautiful wedding set-ups around the property during our site visit. The set ups were left out all day to enjoy.
The “Welcome Party” at the Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive & Spa was my favourite event of the conference. We were welcomed by all of the wedding and event department as they ushered us into the hotel with a parade of white balloons and clapping so we truly felt like VIP’s. (Yes, my eyes are closed but the photo shows exactly what I wanted to share about the entrance.)
This was a beautiful hotel with non-stop entertainment and wonderful service throughout the entire evening. It really did capture the essence of Puerto Vallarta.

Day Two: The trade show was a full day of appointments and meetings with vendors that included a variety of suppliers such as associations, resorts, decorators, musicians and tourism boards. Danielle and I had a WPIC table to share information about what we do. The booths were pretty and spaced out nicely.

We then had a dinner and quick site visit at the beautiful Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit Resort. I really wish we had more time to see the resort, as we were led quite quickly through it on the way to our outdoor dinner. Something really great was there were entertainers strategically placed at most of our stops. Acrobatics and stilt walkers performed, and then singers wowed during our dinner.

Below are some of the pretty wedding set-ups that they can do.
The closing party had a “White theme”. Attendees were able to participate in the new trend of a silent wedding dance party. You may have seen Danielle and I present this at last year’s Wedding MBA. Guests are given headphones and they can change the channels and volume to please them musically for getting their groove on. As you can see from the photos below, it was a hit!

It was announced at the closing party that the next Love Mexico conference will take place at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All Inclusive Golf & Spa in December 2017.
