It offers a platform for over 10,000 esteemed Alumni from The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Inc. and The Wedding Planners Institute of Coordination Inc. to proudly exhibit their exceptional work, vying for top accolades within their professional community.

Eligibility
All submissions are based on the year 2023. Weddings need to have taken place between January 1 and December 31, 2023.

Criteria for Submissions:
Best Wedding Design, Style Shoot
Your Submission must include:
- 5-7 photos of the finished Wedding Design or Styled Shoot
- Description of your inspiration for the design
- Description of the theme and design along with what your objective was
- Description of why this design is worthy of winning this category
- Any relevant supporting documents such as sketches, links to publications of this design, etc
Best Wedding, Destination Wedding Under $50K, Over $50K, Over $100K, Micro, or Eco.
Your Submission must include:
- 5-7 photos of the event
- Client testimonial, if available
- Description of challenge and how you overcame it
- Description of the theme and design of the wedding
- Description of how you made this wedding worthy of winning
- Description of why this wedding should win this category
- Any relevant supporting documents such as Timelines, Budget, and breakdown of costs, etc.
Entertainment, Officiant, Designer, Destination Wedding Planner, Destination Specialist, Onsite Coordinator, Wedding Planner
Your Submission must include:
- 5-7 photos of your work
- Client and/or professional testimonials, if available
- Description of a professional challenge and how you overcame it
- Description of why you are the best choice for this award
- Description of your unique attributes
- Any relevant supporting documents such as examples of your work, etc.
Fee per submission:
Each submission will cost $75.
Award Presentation
The WPIC Wedding Awards will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Renaissance by the Creek, during the annual WPIC Kickoff Gala (a ticket must be purchased to the Kickoff Gala in order to attend the Awards Ceremony). Awards will be mailed to those not in attendance.

Victor Alaez
As a lifestyle destination wedding photographer based in the south of Spain, Victor has been capturing the beauty of weddings for the last few years.
Creating heirloom memories for couples is his passion. With a background in cinematography and graphic design, he is a self-taught photographer, inspired by many great experts in the industry. His style is light, natural and timeless with an editorial flare.
When he is not busy working, you can easily find him snuggling up at home, watching Netflix or baking something new in the kitchen.

Monica Balli is the principle planner of Monica Balli Events based in Tuscany, Italy. Monica has over 20 years of experience as destination event planner and has planner over 800 events mostly in the Mediterranean. Monica Balli Events operate in bespoke travel and off beaten track experiences. Monica is a Virtuoso Travel advisor, Member of all major hospitality networks, YPO Member, DLC honorary member, IEC – International Event certification examiner partner for Italy and global coordinator.
Monica is an International Speaker and coach on lifestyle, weddings, event technology, and entrepreneurship, and is also the owner of VrPlanr.com, a new technology innovation for the hospitality and events industry.
Monica has also written a book for the Italian wedding industry professional, “Io Wedding Planner,” with over 50,000 copies sold in 2 reprints.
Monica’s passions are travel, enjoying life and her family, and her two rules in life are: walk anywhere with your head up high & sleep on 2 pillows. She loves networking and connecting and truly believes that creating synergies will make us all better leaders and professionals.

Rejecting conventional ways of planning and managing events, Kunal has been on a journey to make celebrations more personalized and experiential. From planning intra-country experiences to cross-continental weddings, under Kunal’s leadership C2E has become a global wedding planning firm with offices in New Delhi, Baku, Porto and New York. As evidenced by the recognition of Chapter 2 Events over the years, C2E has won multiple awards for exceptional wedding management at the Great Indian Wedding Awards (2019) and WoW awards Asia (2020).
He has strategically led partnerships with tourism boards and luxury hotel chains around the world to provide his clientele with a bouquet of diverse choices. Focusing on unexplored destinations, Kunal has scouted over 45 countries and has recently executed projects in Spain, U.A.E., Serbia, Turkey and Azerbaijan in the past 3 years.
