Danielle Andrews, BA (WPIC Co-Founder)
Named one of Eventex’s 100 Most Influential Wedding Professionals for 2024, Danielle Andrews is a certified wedding consultant, coordinator, and planner with more than 25 years of experience in the global wedding industry.
As President and Co-Founder of The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Inc. and Vice President of The Wedding Planners Institute of Coordination Inc. (WPIC), Danielle has educated and mentored thousands of wedding professionals worldwide through WPIC’s internationally recognized certification programs. She has also owned and operated The Wedding Planners since 2000, coordinating hundreds of weddings and events across Canada and internationally.

With over a decade of experience, she is well-versed in a variety of cultures and specializes in creating stunning fusion weddings that honor diverse traditions. With a foundation in fashion design, her impeccable eye for detail, creativity, and aesthetics naturally evolved into a passion for curating weddings that are both meaningful and unforgettable. Her innovative approach has been featured in multiple magazines, a testament to her commitment to excellence.
Always prepared for the unexpected, Cristalyne has trained across every aspect of wedding artistry—décor, design, hair and makeup, mehendi, cake design, and more, and further refined her skills through hands-on experience managing banquet hall events. For nearly three decades, Daniela Caputo and her company Montreal Event Planner has been the go-to authority, because of her wealth of experience and expertise.
She has developed a reputation for professionalism in various aspects of planning, from client services and project management to marketing, event execution, negotiations and sourcing, putting her at the forefront of event planning in Montreal and beyond.
Daniela is regularly featured and interviewed in industry publications such as The Event Planner magazine. Given her expertise and reputable success, Daniela was invited to teach various courses on event planning at as well as speak for a number of school boards.
Daniela joined the WPIC team of Instructors in 2014.

Paras Mehta, WPICC
Paras Mehta is our Wedding & Event Designer Certification Instructor.
Recognized as one of Canada’s top talents in event design, Paras is the creative force behind Paras Events, creating highly stylized and luxurious social and corporate events internationally for the most discerning of clientele. Paras is known for his calm demeanour, sophisticated design aesthetic, and commitment to each and every client.In just over a decade, Paras has garnered the acclaim of the Canadian Events Industry. He was awarded his first Canadian Event Industry Star Award at the age of 24 and a year later at age 25, was named ‘Event Designer of the Year’ by the Canadian Wedding Industry – one of the highest achievements in wedding design in Canada. Paras was recognized as the 2016 ‘Wedding Professional of the Year’ for his portfolio of work and contributions to the Canadian Event Industry and more recently, ‘Wedding Designer of the Year’ by the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada for 2017 and 2018. Paras Events is a past winner of the Brampton Outstanding Business Achievement Awards and is currently a ‘Consumer’s Choice

Sue Morris, MA, CMP, WPICC
Sue splits her time between Barbados, and Toronto.
She is an event manager and owner of Essemm Events & Communication Inc.
She is also a part-time instructor at Centennial College in the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts. She was certified with WPIC in 2009.
She is a certified meeting professional (CMP) and has also completed a Masters of Arts in Creative Events Management from Falmouth University. She is also a self-professed wedding and event trade show fanatic.
Sue has been an instructor with WPIC since 2011.
