Available through Correspondence. This course is for Wedding Planners who would like to specialize in Destination Weddings. It is a comprehensive course that teaches the nuances of planning Destination Weddings on an International stage.
This course is only available to Certified Wedding Planners/Coordinators (you will be required to submit proof of Certification).
Designation:
Certified Destination Wedding Coordinator. Successful graduates will get to use the “DWC” initials after their name.
Prerequisites:
This course is only available to Certified Wedding Coordinators. This course is an added specialization of the Wedding Consultant and Coordination Certificate.
Cost:
$899
A pdf soft copy manual, links to 18 webinars, an online test and an examination will be emailed to the student. The student will have 3 months from the time of receipt, to submit their exam. *Upon completion of all aspects of the course, a certificate with official seal will be mailed to successful students in 4-6 weeks of the final course date (International mailing times may affect timing.)
Refunds will be given provided 5 business days notice is given in writing to info@wpic.ca prior to the class start date. All funds will be returned except the $100 registration fee. There will be no refunds of the course fee once the class has begun .

In this course you will learn about the destination wedding couple, their expectations, and the roles and responsibilities of Destination Wedding Planner. You will learn how to plan weddings and events off-resort, how to source and build working relationships with local vendors and what needs to be included in contracts. As well, you will learn how to manage wedding groups, wedding etiquette, requirements to work in other countries, and so much more.
