Thanks to WPIC co-founder and vice president, Tracey Manailescu for this styled shoot submission.
“Love at the Art Gallery” had stationery with a statement, beautiful attire, a gorgeous venue, vibrant and colourful florals, a stunning cake and those oh-so incredible models that really brought it!
“When Le Chateau approached us about using their new wedding boutique line for the shoot we were down right giddy. They sent beautiful dresses to us from their Montreal head office and we arranged a fitting at the Toronto Eaton Centre for the fitting for Jonathan. We were able to pick out everything we wanted including ties, boutonnières, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, shoes and pocket squares. That was seriously amazing!” says Manailescu.
“What started out as a simple idea for a high-end photo shoot, turned into a challenging and time consuming project. That’s the way it goes sometimes though. Everyone involved in this shoot gave so much to make it work. Whether it was back injuries, falling cakes, taking over the florals (ay-yi-yi) running from store to store and staying up half of the night to put the arrangements together, difficulty getting items set-up in time, trekking from the parking lot to delivery, moving as an entire group with security when anyone had to pee (LOL!) etc. Thank goodness for a sense of humour and wedding pros that could roll with the punches.
This shoot is honestly so much about the models and how they took it over. Kaya, Milan and Jonathan; you really brought your A-game!
Cesar (& Laura) you worked tirelessly to create photo magic. It really hasn’t gone unnoticed. Milli, you have so much talent for hair and makeup as well as patience. Susan, you always do such beautiful work with your cakes, and Michelle your stationery is so beautiful, always! -Tracey Manailescu
